摘要 PURPOSE:To improve braking efficiency by finding an average value of a road friction factor computed based on speed data measured on each wheel for setting vehicle deceleration based on said average value whereby determining the target circumferential speed of each wheel based on vehicle deceleration. CONSTITUTION:While a vehicle is running, the wheel speed of each wheel 2 is computed by a control circuit 5 based on the output from a wheel speed sensor 4, and furthermore a target wheel speed is operated based on a predetermined operation expression for controlling a brake actuator 3 depending on the deviation in sped. And an elevation ratio of a wheel is computed every one cycle of an anti-skid operation so as to find a road friction factor having a certain correlation with said elevation ratio. And a vehicle deceleration signal is obtained by a vehicle deceleration operating circuit 6 based on the average value of said road friction factor, and the simulated vehicle speed is simultaneously computed by integrating said decelerating signal for computing the target wheel speed based on said simulated vehicle speed and a slip ratio so as to be utilized for an anti-skid control.
