PURPOSE:To make a working efficient by movably supporting the stud welding machine equipping a stud welding gun between the welding position and preparatory position and fitting to the gun the necessary studs with their selecting in order at the preparatory position as well. CONSTITUTION:A stud welding machine part 6 and stud fitting part 7 are moved to the upper part position to receive the stud which is pushed out of a stud feeding terminal 8 and it is set to the tip of a stud welding gun 6b. A stud fitting head 7c is then returned to a standby position to perform the preparation of the welding. On the other hand, the jig base 13 fitting the welding base metal is moved upto the scheduled position to perform the welding. By repeating this motion the stud to be welded is selected in order and the welding of good efficiency can be performed.
