MANUFACTURE OF MAGNET ROLL

PURPOSE:To obtain a magnet roll which has high magnetic force and high productivity by forming magnetic pole pieces which have different orientation ratios from the center of the arc of a sector to other three sides by using a metal mold wherein the ratio of dimensions a magnetic material part and a non-magnetic material part facing to the arc is changed, and by combining a plurality of the pieces and sticking them on a shaft. CONSTITUTION:After a magnetic pole piece wherein a composite resin magnet material consisting of ferrite powder and a highmolecular material is magnetized by orientating the axis of easy magnetization of the ferrite powder from the center of the arc of the sector of the shape of a section to the other three sides by using a metal mold for orientation combined with a magnetic material and a non-magnetic material provided in a coil for the orientation of a magnetic field is formed, plural number of these pieces are sticked on a shaft. The easy production of a high magnetic force magnet roll is made possible by combining the magnetic pole pieces of different orientation ratio by changing the ratio of the dimensions of the magnetic material and the nonmagnetic material of the metal mold for orientation.
