MANUFACTURE OF HERMETIC SEAL COVER

摘要

PURPOSE:To manufacture a hermetic seal cover with excellent workability and reliability at low cost by a method wherein seal rings coated with base metallic thin film are placed on a metallic cover coated with film with excellent brazing property one upon another with their peripheral parts made almost even while a pressurizing jig is subjected to ultrasonic vibration making the cover and the seal rings junction with one another. CONSTITUTION:Seal rings 5 coated with thin films are placed one upon another with their peripheral parts made almost even and then overall peripheral parts are pressed down by a pressurizing jig 9 surface-processed for slip prevention at the temperature lower than the melting point of seal ring and thin film while said jig 9 is subjected to ultrasonic vibration to make a cover 6 and the seal rings 6 junction with one another. A manufacturing device is composed of a base 8 and an oscillator including an ultrasonic tool horn 9 while the base 8 is provided with a cavity to contain the cover 6. In such a constitution, when the cover 6 is placed in the cavity and the seal rings 5 are placed on the cover 6 one upon another with their peripheral parts made almost even to be pressurized with specified pressure by the ultrasonic tool horn 9 simultaneously subjected to the ultrasonic oscillation for specified time, the seal rings 5 can be junctioned with the cover 6.
