PURPOSE:To make it possible to facilitate the installation and removal of a lever with a simple structure, by providing a lever for opening and closing a throttle valve and a drive lever on the shaft of the throttle valve, and by providing a coupling mechanism between both levers. CONSTITUTION:A lever 5 for opening and closing a throttle valve 5 is integrally incorporated with the shaft 2 of an intake-air throttle valve 3, and a collar 8 is secured between the opening and closing lever 5 and a nut so that a drive lever 6 may be arranged rotatably around the shaft 2. The drive lever 6 is fixed to a pin 6a onto which a collar 9a is loosely fitted, and the collar 9a is integrally incorporated with one end of an relay lever 9. Further, a roller 11 loosely fitted on a roller shaft 9b which is attached to the other end of the relay lever 9 is loosely fitted in a cam groove 5a in the lever 5 for opening and closing the throttle valve. With this arrangement, it is possible to simplify the structure of the opening and closing device for the throttle valve since both levers 5, 6 are coaxially provided.
