PURPOSE:To achieve the simplification and cost reduction of adjusting work, by using not only a light receiving part being a sample light processing part and a photoelectric converter part but also a light receiving part being a reference light processing part and a photoelectric converter part in common and selectively changing over both of them by a white diffusion plate. CONSTITUTION:When a white diffusion plate 34 is changed over to a non-operative state, that is, to such a state that sample light is made to be incident to a common use light receiving part X but no reference light is allowed to be incident to the light receiving part X, only the sample light is allows to be incident to the light receiving part X to be photoelectrically converted by a common use photoelectric converter part Y. When the diffusion plate 34 is changed over to an operative state, that is, to such a state that the reference light is mace to be incident to the light receiving part X but no sample light is allowed to be incident to the light receiving part X, only the reference light is incident to the light receiving part X to be photoelectrically converted by the photoelectric converter part Y. Because these two states are changed over selectively, both of them do not appear simultaneously. The light receiving part X being the sample light and reference light processing part and the photoelectric converter part Y are respectively the same and the adjustment of the irregularity of light sensitivity or an electrical characteristic becomes unnecessary and circuit constitution is simplified and, therefore, cost reduction can be achieved.
