A polyether polymer or copolymer with a pendant group of the formula <IMAGE> in its molecule, said polymer or copolymer consisting essentially of (1) 1 to 100 mole % of recurring units represented by the following formula (I) <IMAGE> (I) and (2) 0 to 99 mole % of at least one type of recurring units represented by the following formula (II) <IMAGE> (II) and having a reduced viscosity eta red, determined at 45 DEG C. in its 0.1% benzene solution or at 80 DEG C. in its 0.1% monochlorobenzene solution, of at least 0.01; a process for producing thereof and novel epoxyether compound therefor.
