<p>PURPOSE:To improve the reliability of operation by releasing a stopper member from an operation member through the driving of a sub-actuator and after the confirmation of said releasing, turning a check lever via the operation member through the driving of a main actuator. CONSTITUTION:When the key sensitive part 7b of a check lever 7 is hooked in a rotor 6 due to a spring 10 for locking steering lock knob 3, the operation of a control device actuates a sub-actuator 12 and a stopper member 14 is retreated, thereby releasing the restriction of a collar part 13b. And when said releasing has been done completely, a main actuator 11 operates and a plunger 13 is absorbed, there by turning the check lever 7 and releasing the key sensitive part 7b from the rotor 6. At the same time, the hooking part 7a of the check lever 7 becomes capable of hooking to a locking rod 9. Thereafter, the stopper member 14 returns to a position for restricting the motion of the plunger 13 in a predetermined time and is coupled to the collar part 13b, thereby maintaining an unlocked condition.</p> |
