PURPOSE:To recognize a caller quickly by sending a caller subscriber number received from an exchange to a data bank, acquiring subscriber information and displaying it. CONSTITUTION:An exchange 20 detects a call of a caller telephone set 30, a call signal and a caller number are sent to the telephone set 10 via a channel D as an incoming signal. A subscriber number reception section 1 receives a subscriber number of the caller sent from the exchange 20 at the incoming call and displays the call on a display device 7 by on output 17. An information sending section 4 sends the received subscriber number to the exchange 20 and an information reception section 5 receives subscriber information sent from a data bank 40. The received subscriber information is sent to the display device and displayed.
