摘要 PURPOSE:To perform the optical comunication to the optical transmission/ reception units of plural unmanned carriers via a single transmission/reception unit set on the ground, by providing the light emitting elements to the light transmitting parts of those said optical transmission/reception units. CONSTITUTION:The light transmitting parts of an optical transmission/ reception unit 22 of an unmanned carrier side and a transmission/ reception unit 3 set on the ground output signal beams S4 and S3 respectively. These light transmitting parts use many light emitting elements and have the diffusion type directivities respectively. Thus signal beams S3 and S4 outputted from both units 23 and 22 have a wide range of output respectively. In case a single unit 23 is set at the center of an intersecting point 16 between the carrier courses 14, the carrier 11 can receive the beam S3 at any position within an area 100. While the unit 23 can receive the beam S4 delivered from the unit 22 at any position as long as the carrier 11 is kept within the area 100. Thus it is possible to perform the optical communication to plural optical transmission/reception units via a single optical transmission/reception unit set on the ground.
