<p>PURPOSE:To make NPT communicate with parties different in procedure as for each party via a circuit having just a signal piece of NPT with no control of connection, by supporting plural procedures to a single circuit set at the terminal side of a packet multiplexing device and allocating the logic channels of a packet exchange network for each procedure. CONSTITUTION:A non-packettype terminal NPTa has communication with a computer Ha via a packet multiplexing device 3 containing an NPT having no connection control function in order to attain the communication with different remote sides for each of different procedures for an NPT. Under such conditions, a procedure detecting part 9 of the device 3 detects the procedure of the NPTa and informs a procedure A to a procedure selecting part 10. The part 10 starts the procedure A at a procedure executing part 11. Thus the NPTa can have communication with the computer Ha via the procedure A and logic channels 4a and 6a. Then the NPTa can also have communication with a computer Hb by a procedure B via logic channels 4b and 6b.</p> |
