PURPOSE:To obtain a base cloth for card clothing having excellent initial adhesivity, oil resistance, elastic modulus, etc., and free from peeling and floating of base cloth, preventing the deterioration of workability and viscosity stability of rubber paste, by inserting a specific rubber paste adhesive layer between lamination layers of the base cloth. CONSTITUTION:Spherical microcapsules 5 are dispersed in a rubber paste adhesive 2 for bonding lamination layers of a woven cloth layer 1. The microcapsule 5 is composed of a vulcanization accelerator (e.g. zinc dibutyldithiocarbamate) as a core component 3 and calcium carbonate, etc., as an inorganic capsule wall material 4 (having fine pores of 100mmu diameter on an average) and has a particle diameter of 20-200mu. A vulcanization controlling rubber adhesive layer D formed by this process slowly releases the vulcanization accelerator at a controlled rate. A sheet 6 of rubber or felt, etc., is laminated to the laminate as a top layer.
