PURPOSE:To make a compact controller which can cope with changes in the quantity of water supply by means of the changes of the software, by constituting an input section with a water supply switch, water supply inhibit switch and an anolyte liquid level sensor, and an output section with a water supply pump, while checking the presence of water supply by means of a microcomputer. CONSTITUTION:Quantity of anolyte is determined by sensing the liquid level in an anolyte tank 9 with three liquid level sensors (H level sensor 4, M level sensor 5, L level sensor 6). The state of each level sensor 4-6 to be in contact with anolyte 8 is referred to '1', and the state not in contact with anolyte 8 to '0'. Under a condition that all signals from three level sensors 4-6 are '1' and not '0', or all signals from three level sensors 4-6 are '0' but a specified period of time has not passed since the start of a liquid fuel cell operation, and when the water supply inhibit switch 3 is OFF and water supply switch 2 is ON, a water supply pump 7 is operated for a certain period or time. By this constitution, a compact liquid fuel cell which can change the quantity of water supply by means of only software can be made. |
