An intelligent computer arrangement for automatically and optimally arranging its internal processing sequences. Freely selectable input information items occurring discontinuously in a large volume, such as occur, for example, in the control of extensive processes, can be processed optimally with respect to time and accuracy. The aim of the invention is an improvement in the degree of utilisation and an expansion of the possible applications of computer arrangements for processing different input conditions. The computer arrangement allows a free flexible programming, which can be generated by itself by means of certain selectable rules and commands of different priority, and the activation of the range of hardware necessary for processing the program thus generated. For this purpose, an input interface is connected via an evaluating circuit to a system bus joined to which an analyser, a memory for the selectable rules and commands, a model generator as processing unit to which a result stack memory is connected via a program optimiser, of a master unit. The master unit generates a program sequence which is forwarded by the model generator to an activator in a slave unit with a processor, a memory for selectable commands and rules and input/output interface to a system bus. The computer arrangement can be extended up to where it becomes trainable. <IMAGE>
