PURPOSE:To maintain a testing liquid under a desired condition and to test erosion and corrosion by circulating the testing liquid for corrosion between a vessel having supporting rods for positioning a testing piece along the outer circumferential surface of an impeller and a circulating vessel. CONSTITUTION:The testing liquid for corrosion contained in the circulating vessel 6 and maintained at a prescribed temp. by a heat exchanger 8 is supplied into a vessel 1 from a supplying hole 17 through a supplying pipe 9 from an exhausting hole 16. The testing liquid impinges on the impeller 3, flows to the outer circumferential direction from a center part, flows circulatedly by revolution of the impeller 3 and impinges on a testing piece 4 supported by the rod 5 supporting the testing piece to cause erosion and corrosion phenomena of the piece. The testing liquid is exhausted from an exhausting hole 15 provided at a top wall of the vessel 1, and sent into the vessel 6 through a sending pipe 7. The testing liquid is supplied to the vessel 1 while being controlled so that the temp. and the dissolved oxygen concn., etc. become prescribed values. |
