A polyester synthetic fiber containing rigid microgrooves, in which there is a ridge-like portion between adjacent microgrooves, said microgrooves being substantially continuous in the axial direction of the fiber, and which microgrooves are arranged nearly regularly on the surface of the polyester fibers said microgrooves and ridges having microcraters distributed upon the surfaces thereof. The polyester fibers have a dry feel and a silk-like hand and possess excellent deep-color dyability. |
