PURPOSE:The titled anthelmintic, containing a parasitic anthelmintic component and methylated cyclodextrin, having good stability of a chemical and readily administered to animals. CONSTITUTION:An animal anthelmintic containing (A) 0.5-10wt% preferably 1-5wt% animal internal parasitic anthelmintic component, e.g. tetrachloroethylene, carbon tetrachloride, thymol, carbon disulfide, toluene, etc., and (B) methylated cyclodextrin expressed by the formula (n is 6-9: A is H or CH3, provided that at least one A in 3n A is CH3) in an amount of 1/2-20 times, preferably 1-10 times based on the ingredient (A). A methylated beta-cyclodextrin mixture containing >=50wt% methylated beta-cyclodextrin having 8-11 ether substitution degree and 8.0-11.0 weight-average ether substitution degree is preferred for the ingredient (B).
