<p>PURPOSE:To produce a synthetic polyurethane sheet having high added value, by using a plastic film having metallized layer at one face, pressing a molten polyurethane resin against the metallized layer of the film while forming a diffraction pattern on the surface and applying a cloth to the other face of the film. CONSTITUTION:A molten polyurethane extruded through a T-die is pressed against a metallized face of a plastic film having a metallized layer on one face using a cooling roll having a relief stamper with a diffraction pattern on the surface. The molten polyurethane is embossed and cooled at the same time by this process to form a diffraction pattern composed of 5-1,500 lines per 1mm with regular intervals. A cloth is bonded to the other face of the film to obtain the objective synthetic sheet having an embossed diffraction lattice pattern on the surface of a polyurethane resin layer. The sheet has high added value and is widely utilizable as a raw material for a brief case, handbag, sportswear, etc.</p> |
