PURPOSE:To detect any step-out assuredly by detecting with an updown counter the difference between the pulse motor driving pulse number and the feedback pulse number. CONSTITUTION:The drive signals(d and e) from a pulse motor drive 1 and the feedback pulses 5 from a pulse generator 3 fitted to the shaft of a pulse motor 2 are inputted into flip flops 5 and 6 to shift by 1/2 clock cycle for output timing. They are then inputted into an updown counter 9 with the pulse width controlled by monostable multivibrators 7 and 8. The updown counter 9 detects no step-out when the numbers of drive signals and feedback signals are identical, while it detects the step-out when the number of either signal changes. |
