PURPOSE:To switch the broadcast system with an external input even for different broadcast systems by providing a mode selecting a television signal of a predetermined channel depending on the different broadcast system and a mode selecting a signal of the channel selecting optionally the broadcast system by the user. CONSTITUTION:In giving a channel selection signal 3 to a channel selection circuit 10, the channel of the broadcast system A having the ch1-ch10 or the broadcast system B having the channel ch11-16 is selected, a tuning voltage or a band changeover signal 4 is given to a tuner 6 in response to the signal 3 to receive a corresponding television signal. Further, the circuit 10 gives a broadcast system switching signal 2 to a video intermediate frequency amplifier 7 to output a detection signal of a channel selected from the amplifier 7. In selecting the ch0 by the signal 3, the channel selection circuit 10 is acted similarly above, and when a television signal by the PAL system is outputted from a VTR, the signal is outputted from the amplifier 7. In reproducing the video image of the SECAM system from the VTR, the broadcast switching manual input signal 8 is given to the channel selection circuit 10, which outputs only the signal 2 without switching the signal 4. Then the amplifier 7 is changedover from the PAL system into the SECAM system.
