<p>NEW MATERIAL:A compound shown by formula I (R<1> is lower alkyl; R<2> is H or -CH2-O-COR<3>; R<3> is lower alkyl, furyl, styryl, etc.) and a salt thereof. EXAMPLE:2,3-Bis(4-acetoxymethyl-3,5-dioxopiperazin-1-yl)butane. USE:An antitumor agent. PREPARATION:A compound shown by formula II is reacted with formaldehyde in a molar ratio of 1:2 in DMF at 100-150 deg.C and the prepared reaction product is reacted with a compound shown by formula III in the presence of both a condensation agent (e.g. 1-methyl-2-chloropyridinium iodide) and a reaction promotor (e.g. dimethylamino-pyridine) at 0-50 deg.C for 4-24hr or with a reactive derivative of the compound shown by formula III at -20 deg.C-room temperature for 1-8hr to give a compound shown by formula I.</p> |
