PURPOSE:To obtain the title film excellent in gas permeability and mechanical strength and making an impression of a quality product, by embossing a film comprising a polyolefin resin and an inorganic filler, stretching this film and giving an irregular pattern to the film with a hot embossing roll. CONSTITUTION:100pts.wt. polyolefin resin (A) (e.g., linear low-density PE) is mixed with 50-500pts.wt. inorganic filler, preferably, surface-treated and having a means particle diameter <=30mu (e.g., CaCO3) and, if necessary, adjuvants such as a lubricant, a pigment and a plasticizer are added to the mixture. The resulting mixture is formed into a film. This film is roughened by embossing and stretched at least unidirectionally at an area draw ratio of 1.05-50, and further embossed with a hot embossing roll to form an irregular pattern of a depth of 2mum-3mm. In this way, the title film of a moisture permeability >=100g/m<2>.24hr can be obtained. |
