PURPOSE:To obtain the titled material having good light fastness and formalin resisting property and an improved coloring property by incorporating a magenta coupler which is substituted with a specific substituent shown by the formula at 6 position of 1H-pyrazolo[3,2-C]-s-triazole type magenta coupler to at least one layer of the silver halide emulsion layer. CONSTITUTION:The titled material contains the magenta coupler substd. with the substituent shown by formula at the 6 position of 1H-pyrazole[3,2-C]-s-triazole type magenta coupler in at least one layer of the silver halide emulsion layer. The 1H- pyrazolo[3,2-C]-s-triazole which is substd. with the substituent shown by the formula at the 6 position thereof is formed by reacting for example, 3-amino-5-hydrazino pyrazole with acyl chloride in the presence of a base, followed by treating the obtd. compd. with phosphrous oxychloride, and subsequently, the obtd. compd. is effected a cyclization in the presence of a base, followed by reacting the obtd. compd. with a chloroformic acid ester to obtain the carbamate derivative at the 6 positionof 1H- pyrazolo[3,2-C]-s-triazole. And, the silver halide photographic sensitive material is formed by coating a hydrophilic colloid layer contg. at least one layer of a silver halide emulsion layer on a substrate body. |
