PURPOSE:To improve a bulk density with high efficiency by putting an ultrafine particle material having a specified grain size and bulk density into a container, and oscillating the container to break down the chains of the ultrafine particles. CONSTITUTION:The ultrafine particle powder which consists of the aggregate of the ultrafine particles having <=1mum average grain size, are combined with the greater part of the fine particles to a chain state, has large holes among the chains and has high voids and <=0.1g/cc bulk density is molded. The aggregate of the ultrafine particle is housed into the container. The container is oscillated via liquid or solid media or without the aid of the media to break down the chains of the ultrafine particles. The network spaces formed by the chain structure are thereby annihilated and the ultrafine particle material having 0.3g/cc bulk density is obtd. The ultrafine powder is applicable to the production of a high-density coated film, sintered molding, etc.
