PURPOSE:To reduce the temperature of a high temperature gas with water and air consumed without increasing the space required for the equipment by providing a nozzle in a cylindrical member which leads a high temperature gas and supporting the nozzle with a piping for air supply and piping for water supply and jetting out the atomization of water and air mixture into the high temperature gas flow. CONSTITUTION:A plurality of atomization nozzles 1 are orderly arranged on a plane that intersects with a piping 4 vertically because it is required that a plurality of atomization nozzles besides central atomization nozzles are dispersed and arranged due to the evaporation in a short distance in a high temperature piping 4 due to the high temperature gas flow from the upstream. An atomization nozzle 1 which produces minute particles and which is of a small size and high reliability is used to give uniform atomization. Compressed air and water which were stored at uniform pressure and temperature are supplied to the atomization nozzle 1 from an air piping 2 and water piping 3 and the air and water are mixed in flow in the nozzle main body and the mixture flow is atomized in a predetermined angle from a tip orifice. By installing an atomization nozzle which produces minute particles evaporation is carried out in a short time and short distance and a high temperature gas has its temperature reduced in a high temperature gas duct or high temperature gas piping easily.
