PURPOSE:To improve the adhesiveness between a photosensitive layer and substrate of an org. photosensitive body for electrophotography having an under coating layer and photosensitive layer on a substrate by incorporating a cellulose acetate and adhesiveness improving agent into the under coating layer. CONSTITUTION:The adhesiveness between the substrate in particular and the photosensitive layer is improved by incorporating the adhesiveness improving agent further into the cellulose acetate used for the under coating layer. An 8-nylon and phthalic anhydride impart flexibility to the cellulose acetate and improve the adhesiveness of the under coating layer to the substrate and the photosensitive layer and a silane coupling agent improve the anchor effect of the cellulose acetate to the substrate and improve the adhesiveness. The 8-nylon is incorporated into the cellulose acetate in a 5-20pts.wt. range per 100pts.wt. cellulose acetate. The layer thickness of the under coating layer is specified to a 0.5-15mum range and said layer is formed by dissolving the cellulose acetate and adhesiveness improving agent in a suitable org. solvent, then coating the soln. thereof of the conductive substrate. |
