PURPOSE:To keep a mixing ratio of steel fiber to concrete constant, by providing a hopper, a rotary wheel and a spit bar with a device for continuously supplying the steel fiber for improving toughness of concrete and supplying the steel fiber while it is loosened. CONSTITUTION:A hopper 2 comprising a rotary casing 1 is charged with a block 3 of steel fiber from its upper portion. A rotary wheel 4 is held horizontally by a center shaft 5 and it can be rotated in a normal direction p and in a reverse direction q. Projecting bars 6 are planted on the circumference of the rotary wheel 4. The block 3 of the steel fiber is held in the condition that it is placed on a spit bar. When the rotary wheel 4 is rotated in the normal direction p, the block 3 of the steel fiber is rotated in a direction P by the projecting bars 6 so that the block 3 is loosened by the projecting bars 6 while it tends to be loosened, whereby the steel fiber is cut off little by little and transported to an outlet 9 for a constant supply.
