CELL FOR CONTACT OF LIQUID WITH WIRE ROD

PURPOSE:To improve the efficiency of contact of a wire rod with a liq. and to increase the rate of treatment by forming a wire rod introducing hole at one end of a tubular body and a wire rod discharging hole at the other end, whirling the liq. introduced into the tubular body and allowing it to flow counter to the wire rod in the form of a thin laminar flow. CONSTITUTION:A wire rod W is introduced into a tubular body from the wire rod introducing hole at one end and is taken out through the wire rod discharging hole at the other end. A liq. L in a feed line 9 is also introduced through a guide 6 at the other end. The liq. L is whirled in circular flow and solid flow forming parts, the direction of the flow is changed and the flow is narrowed. A gas is then introduced into a gas introducing part 12 formed at the position of the wire rod introducing hole and the liq. is discharged through a discharge line 10 which is opposite to the flow of the liq. and intersects the locus of the traveling wire rod.
