PURPOSE:To obtain sufficient connecting strength by allowing the horizontal beams of preceding and folowing panels to come near each other by a method in which the reinforcing bar cage end of the following panel is forcibly narrowed and inserted into horizontal beam of the preceding panel end, and a restrictive part is removed out. CONSTITUTION:The end of the horizontal beam 5 of a reinforcing bar cage 4 for following panels is forcibly narrowed by a restrictive part 6, e.g., steel wire, etc. The cage 4 is erected in a pit in such a way as to penetrate the narrowed portion of the beam 5 into the horizontal beams 3 of a preceding panel 1. The part 6 is then removed out to recover the beam 5 by elasticity to allow both the beams 3 and 5 to come near each other. Under the condition, concrete is placed into the pit to construct a following panel. An underground continuous wall having the preceding and following panels which are sufficiently connected with each other can thus be formed under the ground.
