PURPOSE:To effective attain redundancy conversion by deciding warning signal generation after the information of a selected portmap circuit and the information of a fault recognition circuit are received, executing a warning output and using a standby device instead of a fault interface device. CONSTITUTION:The PCM signal strings a1-a4 and b1-b6 of the first and the second groups A and B are connected to two of interface devices 21-23 through a switcher 1 and the rest one which isn't connected is arranged as a stand-by PCM signal interface device. If fault occurs in the first device 21, the fault recognition circuits 31-36 of the device 21 are connected to lines L1-L6 respectively so as to detect the abnormality of signal strings a1-a4 and transmit the detected information to a warning signal generation decision circuit 4. To the circuit 4 the information of one portmap circuit selected by a selection circuit 14, in this case it is the information of a portmap circuit 11, has been added and the warning signal of a decision signal output is outputted outside from a warning signal generation circuit 5. And the device 23 is used instead of the device 21.
