PURPOSE:To enhance values of photo-current and dark current and processibility by encapsulized polymerizing more than one kind of vinyl family monomer with cadmium sulfide powder and forming encapsulized cadmium sulfide. CONSTITUTION:Methyl methacrylate, styrene, vinylcarbazole and the like are polymerized with cadmium sulfide powder as monomers to prepare encapsulized cadmium sulfide. As polymerization starters, radical polymerization starters such as 2,2'-azobis(2-aminodipropane), dihydrochloride and the like can be used. Encapsulized cadmium sulfide thus prepared carries values of photo-current/dark current larger than heretofore available by 1-2 orders of magnitude and a higher processibility. Because of above-said improvements, the same is useful as a material for photo sensor solar battery, electrophotographic sensitive material and the like. |
