PURPOSE:To substantially reduce the used amount of a washing water, without generating a fur and a suspended matter by incorporating a specific compd. to the washing water, and by specifying a replenishing amount of the washing water to <=3l (including zero) per 1m<2> of the photosensitive material. CONSTITUTION:The washing water contains at least one kind of the compd. shown by formula I. The replenishing amount of the washing water is <=3l (including zero) per 1m<2> the sensitive material. In formula I, X is hydrogen atom, an alkali metal atom, an ammonium ion, alkyl or aryl group, Y is halogen atom, alkyl, alkoxy, amino, hydroxy, nitro, sulfonic acid or carboxylic acid group, Z is hydrogen atom, halogen atom, alkyl, alkoxy, amino, nitro, sulfonic acid or carboxylic acid group, (n) is 0, 1, 2 or 3. |
