PURPOSE:To prevent the increase in emission and the generation of after burning by providing a scale value changing means for changing the scale value of the shaft of a map on which a controlling quantity is allocated and changing the scale value in accordance with the operating condition of an engine. CONSTITUTION:A scale value changing means 54 selects the scale value of a mixing ratio map stored in a map memory 53 in accordance with an engine operating condition 28. An injection quantity correcting means 56 multiplies a fundamental injection pulse width which is calculated by a fundamental injec tion quantity operating means 51, by a correcting factor determined by a correcting factor determining means 55. And. an injection pulse width is obtained and outputted to an output circuit 57, which, in turn, outputs the injection pulse width to an injector 6 to make it inject fuel. Thereby, the increase in emission, the generation of after burning, and the sooting of an ignition plug at the time of low temp. operation can be prevented.
