The present invention relates to the field of manufacture of insulating glazings of the double-glazing type, and more particularly to a device intended for fitting a junction strip to the periphery of a window pane intended to receive a second window pane to form the double glazing. According to the invention, the device is characterised in that it consists: of means 1, referred to as table 1, for holding the window pane 2, rotating means 3 for applying the strip 4 against the window pane, which can be moved by a first trolley 5 along a first pair of rails 6, 7 and by a second trolley 8 supporting the rails of the first and which can be moved along a second pair of rails 9, 10, the assembly allowing the automatic fitting of the strip and providing the option of insertion into a production line. <IMAGE>
