PURPOSE:To obtain a beautiful product, in which neither wrinkle nor entrapment of air develop during molding, by a method wherein a decorative member such as cloth or the like is held on a holding member having a form corresponding to the form of a cavity between split molds and a parison and blow-molding is performed under the condition that the holding member is arranged so as to face the decorative member to the parison side. CONSTITUTION:A holding member 3, on which a decorative member 4 is held, is mated to one mold 1. In this case, the decorative member 4 is turned inside. After that, the one mold 1 opposes to the other mold 7 across parison 6. The molds 1 and 7 are closed and pressurizing fluid is forced in the parison 6 in order to expand and mold the parison 6. At this time, the decorative member 4 held on the holding member 3 is tightly pasted onto the surface of a hollow body 5. After that, the molds 1 and 7 are opened and the hollow body 5 is removed from the molds and finally the hollow body 5, onto the surface of which the decorative member 4 is pasted, is obtained by separating the holding member 3 from the hollow body 5 and the decorative member 4. Thus, because neither wrinkle nor entrapment of air develop at corners, a beautiful hollow body 5 can be easily obtained. |
