PURPOSE:To quickly and smoothly execute a processing work by a simple operation, and to sufficiently utilize a graphic processing function, by discriminating an enlargement or a reduction from a moving direction of a cursor, calculating a magnification from its moving extent, and executing the enlargement/reduction processing, based on said information. CONSTITUTION:When a display cursor is operated in the right or left direction by an operation of a cursor key K, and also, an input instruction key F is operated, a graphic enlargement/reduction control module 1A recognizes its moving direction and moving extent, generates an enlargement/reduction designating signal, based on its moving direction and moving extent, and also, calculates its magnification information. In such a case, the cursor is moved in the left direction at the time of designating an enlargement of a graphic, and in the right direction at the time of reducing the graphic. In that case, the larger the moving extent of the cursor becomes, the larger the magnification becomes. In such a way, a graphic enlargement processing module 1B executes an enlargement/reduction processing with respect to a graphic in a rectangular range which is designated in accordance with the inputted enlargement/reduction designating signal and magnification information, and displays the processed graphic information on a display part 4 through a display control part 3.
