PURPOSE:To reduce the operation processing quantity, the circuit scale and power consumption and to quicken the converging by arranging the position of pole on a plane of a transfer function of an ADF at equal intervals with respect to a reference point. CONSTITUTION:A signal x(k) is inputted from a terminal 1 to an unknown system 3 and an ADF 2 at a time (k), an output signal h(k) of the ADF 2 is subtracted (4) from an output signal y'(k) of the system 3 and a signal e(k) is outputted to a terminal 5. The similar processing is applied in ADF-1-ADF-(M-1) in the ADF 2, the outputs of the ADF-1-ADF-M are added (6) to obtain an output y(k) at the time (k). As a result, the poles of a transfer function of the ADF 2 are arranged on plural circules around the origin on the (z) plane, the poles are arranged on each circuit at equal intervals with respect to a reference point having an angle from the positive real axis and the radius of each circle and the angle of the reference point are subject to adaptive control.
