PURPOSE:To obtain a colored image easily and in a favorable finished state, by placing a transfer material and a foil sheet on a pressure-receiving surface, and applying heat and pressure thereto by a heating and transferring body comprising a heater roller. CONSTITUTION:A transfer material 9 provided with a toner image 10 by a copying machine is clamped between a foil sheet 4 and a mount paper 7 so that the side of the toner image 10 thereof faces the side of a foil layer 6 of the foil sheet 4, and the resultant set is placed on a pressure-receiving surface 3. A heating and transferring body 11 with heater rollers 12, 12A preheated is slidden along the pressure-receiving surface 3 while applying heat and pressure to the set placed on the surface 3. The heat of the rollers 12, 12A is transferred to the toner image 10, whereby a resin component in a toner constituting the toner image is melted, and the foil layer 6 is adhered to the surface of the toner image 10. With the foil sheet 4 released from the transfer material 9, defoiled parts 6A having the same shape as that of the toner image 10 of 'ABC' are provided on the foil sheet 4, and the toner image 10 is converted into an image 10A colored with the color of the foil through the thermal transfer of the foil layer 6. |
