PURPOSE:To emit a predetermined amount of an adhesive in proper quantities regardless of the residual quantity of the adhesive, by automatically correcting the applying time of the positive atmospheric pressure supplied into a syringe corresponding to actual coating quantity. CONSTITUTION:When a coating apparatus is operated, the integrated value of the number of coating times at this point of time is supplied to an operational processor 8. The operational processor 8 reads an optimum fundamental open time from a memory 10 on the basis of the integrated value supplied from a pulse counter 9 and outputs the open time control signal responding to the optimum open time obtained by correcting said optimum fundamental open time on the basis of the temp. signal outputted from a temp. sensor 11. Then, the driving signal of the pulse width responding to said control signal at the point of time when an open time timing signal is supplied is supplied to a switching element 6 from a solenoid valve open time (t) controller 7. By this method, positive atmospheric pressure is applied to a syringe 3 through a solenoid valve 5 to forcibly extrude an adhesive.
