PURPOSE:To prevent the separation of flow by forming a part of meridian plane configuration of a diaphragm outer ring by a curve having a center of curvature on the outside diameter side beyond the outer ring. CONSTITUTION:A part of meridian plane configuration of a diaphragm outer ring 1 is formed by a curve having a center 4 of curvature on such a side as the opening in the radial direction becomes larger than the diaphragm outer ring 1. By such a configuration, the enlargement angle phi can be lessened, and the negative pressure gradient can be decreased or vanished. Thus, the separation of flow can be prevented.
