PURPOSE:To obtain a simply structured thermometer enabling whether a temperature is high or low to be intuitively read by taking-in temperature values detected by a temperature sensing unit at every prescribed time and storing the temperature values. CONSTITUTION:A thermometer is provided with a body portion, a temperature sensing unit 2 for detecting the continuously changing temperature of an object being measured, and A/D converter 3 accommodated in the body portion for sampling temperature values detected by the unit 2 at 1min intervals, digitally converting and outputting the values, a CPU4 that is a controller for sequentially taking-in temperature value data from the converter 3 and a temperature data memory 5 that is a storage for storing the temperature value data. The temperature of the object being measured are detected by the temperature sensing unit 2, taken in at prescribed time divisions and stored in the storage. Further, the controller 4 is connected to the temperature sensing unit 2 and the storage 5, which are freely selected and the temperature value data are taken out of either of the selected temperature sensing unit 2 or the storage 5. The temperature value data taken out by the controller 4 are one-dimensionally displayed on a bar graph display.
