<p>The system for monitoring and recording the game incidents occurring on a tennis court is comprised of a network of cameras held by gantries (21) mounted on posts (22) situated at the conners of the outer perimeter of the tennis court. The cameras (1) to (5) and (10) to (14) have their objectives directed towards the center and in the axis of the longitudinal lines. The cameras (6 to 9 and 15 to 18) have their objectives directed towards the center and in the axis of the transversal line. The chair of the umpire is reference marked (19), the position (20) facing the umpire being used to determine the scanning direction of the cameras. A complex processing of the video signal provides for the recording and the visualisation of the position or mark of the ball on or at the vicinity of all the court lines.</p> |
