PURPOSE:To expand driving margin by making the vertical angles of patterns at both upper and lower end parts or one side part of a pattern column extending in a domain stretch direction less than those at the center part of the pattern column. CONSTITUTION:On a (YSmLuCa)3(FeGe)3O12 film grown on GGG, head bubbles are suppressed by a YIG thin layer and on it, 300 stages of chevron patterns of 12mum in pitch, 1mum in gap, 3mum in pattern width, and 90 deg. in vertical angle (alpha1), for example, are stacked through Al2O3 films; and vertical angle (alpha2) of 10 stages of patterns at both end parts is set to 80 deg.. Consequently, the driving margin is expanded by lowering the lower limit of a driving bias. |
