PURPOSE:To obtain a thin sheet-like plastic battery by forming an electrolyte to be placed between a cathode and an anode by dissolving a polymer having high polarity such as polyacrylonitrile to eliminate fluidity of the electrrolyte. CONSTITUTION:An electrolyte consists of supporting electrolyte such as LiClO4 and LiBF4 and organic solvent such as propylene carbonate and acetonitrile. A polymer having high polarity such as polyacrylonitrile and polyvinylidene fluoride is dissolved in the electrolyte to the content in which fluidity of the electrolyte is lost and a paste-like electrolyte 3 is formed. The electrolyte 3 is placed between a cathode 1 made of polypyrrole or the like and an anode 2 made of aluminium foil or the like to form a plastic battery. The sheet-like plastic battery is easily obtained by using sheet-like electrodes 1, 2, and is made compact and lightweight. |
