<p>The device for filtering gases comprises a closed receptacle, divided by a horizontal perforated plate into a lower part provided with a gas inlet and an upper part provided with a gas outlet. Filter elements in the form of a tube or candle are suspended in a sealed manner in the holes of the perforated plate and held in the latter by a flange-shaped thickened portion (9) at their upper end. In order to ensure a seal also when the filter elements (7) are tilted in relation to the perforated plate (1), the flange-shaped thickened portion has a support surface (10) located on a sphere, the centre of which is located above the support surface and on the longitudinal axis of the filter. The hole (2) of the perforated plate (1) surrounds the filter casing (11) of the filter element located just under the thickened portion, at a distance such that the filter element can be tilted within a specified angular range around the centre of the sphere.</p> |
