A tamper indicating package incorporates a closure comprising a cylindrical body 2, open at both ends, for screw-threaded engagement with the neck of a container and a transparent cap member 9, which may co-operate with the body by inter-engaging flanges and grooves which allow relative rotation, or may form a unitary structure with the body. Visible under the cap member 9 is a linear 19 which may be bonded both to the cap member and to the neck of the container so that it is visibly destroyed when the closure is unscrewed. A resilient bead 26 may be provided at the underside of the cap member 9 to accommodate variations in the surface 20 of the neck of the container against which the cap member is re-sealable. <IMAGE>
