In the case of a permanent-magnet-energised electric motor having a stator, a rotor, a flat air gap and a bearing connecting both motor elements, in order to simplify production, the rotor has a composite board with an iron support, at least one layer which is electrically insulating with respect to the iron plate, and an electrically conductive layer which is arranged thereon and forms conductor tracks, by means of which coils or electronic switching elements are wired up, and the layer which forms the conductor tracks forms the commutator. <IMAGE>
