PURPOSE:To obtain a low-cost electrophotographic sensitive body having superior sensitivity and printing resistance without increasing the ratio of a charge transferring substance to a binder by forming a charge transferring layer contg. a specified compound dispersed in polyester resin on a charge generating layer of phthalocyanine on an electrically conductive substrate. CONSTITUTION:A charge transferring layer contg. 1,2,4-tetrahydroquinoline-6- carboxyaldehyde hydrazone deriv. dispersed in polyester resin is formed on a charge generating layer of phthalocyanine on an electrically conductive substrate. The deriv. is represented by formula 1. For example, an underlayer 2 of polyester is formed on an Al substrate 1, a charge generating layer 3 is vapor-deposited on the underlayer 2 and a charge transferring layer 4 is formed on the layer 3 to obtain a sensitive body.
