PURPOSE:To evade the simultaneous wired OR with the output data received from each of a duplexing system by switching simultaneously both systems in case each of the duplex system is specified by the system switch control carried out at the host side. CONSTITUTION:The duplexing devices 3 and 4 coats with each other to form a duplexing system and the system states of both devices 3 and 4 are controlled by the ACT/SBY information 1 and 2 received from the host side. Here it is inhibited to set both devices 3 and 4 simultaneously at the ACT (working system) although they can be set simultaneously at the SBY (spare system). Then only in case either one of the system states of both devices 3 and 4 is set at the ACT, the data received from the relevant system is outputted to a simple device 5 via a signal line 8 of wired OR connection. The confounding signal lines 6 and 7 transmit the ACT/SBY information with each other and the state of the relevant system is switched with control based on the ACT/SBY information received from the host side and that received from the other system.
