<p>Apparatus for testing the strength of muscles and muscle groups of a person. In use, an inflated pressure pad (104) is engaged with a body area, and a force from a muscle or muscle group is applied to the pad. This force is sensed and a signal representing that force is displayed by a sensing and display device (106). The pressure pad is connected to a guide (102) so that the pad may be fixed in a multitude of different positions to engage many different body areas subjected to forces from a multitude of different muscles and muscle groups.</p> |
